When I travel, I usually spend a lot of time looking and absorbing the scenery around me. So far no other landscape that I have travelled to in my career as an Artist, has moved me as much as Canada’s beautiful and rugged wilderness. Every direction I travel to within this amazing Country provides new inspiration for me as I try to recreate the varying atmosphere and light of this land from season to season. I can whole heartedly say that I am truly devoted to surmounting the challenges that I face with each new canvas and my hope is that when viewing one of my paintings, the viewer will experience and savour the beauty of the landscapes that surround us in this remarkable nation.
